Debian Packages

Hi,

I had been trying to install Mailscanner 4.33-2 on Debian, but I kept
getting the follow error.

Unpacking mailscanner (from .../mailscanner_4.33.3-2_all.deb) ...
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/preinst: db_get: command not found
dpkg: error processing
/var/cache/apt/archives/mailscanner_4.33.3-2_all.deb (--unpack):
 subprocess pre-installation script returned error exit status 127
Errors were encountered while processing:
 /var/cache/apt/archives/mailscanner_4.33.3-2_all.deb
E: Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)

Any advice on what could be the problem?
