process <defunct>

Hi,

I'm running the following system:

Mailscanner 4.33.3
Linux SUSE 9.1
EXIM 4.4.2
Perl 5.8.3
F-Prot 4.4.4
SpamAssasian not installed yet

Whenever a mail was scanned and deliverd a MailScanner <defunct>
process is added when displaying ps -A. The logs do not show
anything abnormal and everything seems to operate normal.

Does anybody has an idea what could be wrong and how to solve it?
