Update to corrupted PDF issue

Just to update my email from a couple of hours ago. I can receive emails
from other people to me that have PDF attachments and the PDF is fine.
However, if I send the PDF to a client and CC myself or send it directly to
myself, the PDF is unreadable.

I really do not know where to start here except perhaps updating to the very
latest.
