MailScanner stopped processing Mail

As of 10:30 am yesterday MailScanner has stopped processing mail. We have
mail in both mqueue's. Last thing we see saw in MailWatch is that panda
antivirus detected a denial of service and started tagging all e-mail's as
viruses. We removed virus cleaning from MailScanner but still no luck mail
is coming in and getting queued. But not delivered either locally or to the
internet. Nothing gets logged in the database either.
If I stop MailScanner and run sendmail than mail works without a problem.
I cant figure out what is wrong. We are running MailScanner on Redhat Es3.
