OK no problem
 
My bitdefender update script is attached. It simply calls bdc with the -update option and looks at the response it gets. If it gets "no updates available" then logs appropriately otherwise logs that it has updated.

	Maybe you should share, having looked at it in the past the bitdefender
	autoupdate script as shipped is a nightmare to work with.  Perhaps
