Thanks for the reply, I did use the install script and Base64 comes up
as 3.01. Any other ideas?
I have included the total output from MailScanner -v for reference. Any
help is appreciated.
Thanx

You have not installed the new MIME::Base64 and QuotedPrint
modules. This error message has been posted to this list many times
before, along with the explanation :-)
You will find that ^ÓMailScanner ^Öv^Ô will report version
2.something for MIME::Base64 and MIME::QuotedPrint. It should
report version 3.something.
Either use CPAN to upgrade MIME::Base64 (which will automatically
do the QuotedPrint bit as well), or run my ./install.sh script and
make sure it successfully built and installed the modules.
Did you install using my ./install.sh script?

All,
Having a problem with mailscanner decoding of messages
sent form microsoft clients sending rich text or HTML.
I have tried turning off the TNEF expander and also
setting mailscanner to deliver the unparsable TNEF. I
have also tried both the internal perl module and the
external executable. After a little more digging I'm
thinking that the problem occurs before the TNEF even
gets kicked off. It appears that the MIME Decoder
module is having a problem initializing the QuotedPrint
object when and HTML or Rich text email is recieved
from a MS client (plain text are fine) also
HTML/richtext from evolution is fine. The following
error appears in the maillog.
Cannot parse

I have noticed that there is more than one QuotedPrint
perl module on the box, I not really a perl guy so I
not sure how all this effects things
