I missed the beginning of this thread, so I'll jump in on this section
here.  Are you saying that it's no longer a good idea to do the install
manually (perl Makefile.PL, make, etc) for each of the modules and then
copy the MailScanner install into /opt ?

Or am I just reading that wrong ?
