Stuffit archives

I've noticed that my Mailscanner doesn't peer in to SIT archives.    We
get a lot of these since we have  a lot of mac users here.   I'm running
 a RH8.0 system with MailScanner 4.28.6.     If I installed Stuffit
 onto the Linux box,  is there a way for Mail Scanner to peer into those
files,  or is that ability already built in?
