Fedora Core 2 & mailertable not working?

Hey all. I've searched the internet, and haven't found any complete
information, so I figured I'd post.

I've got a fairly typical setup. Fedora Core 2 system which is running
sendmail & mailscanner which will process and then forward all email to
an internal email server.

I found that the "best" way to do this, is to add an entry in the
/etc/mail/mailertable file. After setting up the system to listen on
the non-localhost interface, I added the mailertable entry.

tried to send an email through it using Outlook Express, with the FC2
system as the outbound server. (Mind you, the fedora & exchange systems
are both still internal to the firewall)

At first, it complained about not forwarding for this domain. I added

LOCAL_DOMAIN(`backbonesecurity.com')dnl

To the sendmail.mc file, and that message went away (my own mistake)

Now, it's complaining about "User Unknown"

I obviously missed something, but I haven't figured out what. Are there
any suggestions that you guys might have?

Thanks
