Uninstall spamassassin (tgz)

Hi,

This is the error I am getting when I do "make uninstall"

Uninstall is deprecated. Please check the packlist above carefully.
  There may be errors. Remove the appropriate files manually.
  Sorry for the inconveniences. 

And when I do "make install -DUNINST=1" I get a syntax error.

Do you have another option ?

In the directory in which you built SpamAssassin, do
         make uninstall
If that fails, try
         make install -DUNINST=1

And don't forget to say
         Use SpamAssassin = no
in MailScanner.conf!
