Sendmail, a lot of mails stuck in /var/spool/mqueue

Hello

Have a look at the priority number "P"  it seems unusually high.

If you want to process the message manually either remove the P flag or
crank the number down. We have had the same problem here once in a while
and it usually indicates that sendmail has had problems delivering to the
host.

You can clear the host status information by running sendmail with the -bH
switch, this should allow sendmail to at least try processing them.
