A favour from people with busy servers please...

I'm working on a possible new feature for MailScanner-MRTG and I need
some information, particularly from users of Exim or Postfix who have
very busy servers. I need to know if these MTA's log anything if/when
they stop connecting SMTP connections due to excessive load, what they
log during the period they are rejecting (e.g. do they log each failed
connection, a regular summary, nothing ?) and what they log when they
start accepting connections again.

The most useful thing would be some log examples. A chunk of log (with
addresses obfuscated if appropriate) would be the tops as it would
provide me something to test against.

Please feel free to email me directly, all help gratefully received.

Regards

Kevin
