Zip files, file name checks

Hi

I am trying to set up a scenario where encrypted zip files are not checked for file types.

My customers need to send exe and bat files, but I still try to set limits for this kind of traffic. So I only want to allow these files in password protected zip files.

Mailscanner seems to catch them some of the time.
I created a few zip files for testing. All contained a file called pr.bat.

The strange thing is that when I send only one zip file in a mail it gets caught whether it's encrypted or not.

If I send several such attachments (some encrypted some not) then the password protected file does get through.

Is this a bug?

I am running Debian Testing with this mailscanner version:
ii mailscanner 4.29.7-1 An email virus scanner and spam tagger
