omission in languages.conf

Ah yes,
Sorry, didn't correlate Remco to you and this post.

I am using the 4.30.3-r2 ebuild and I am also using MCP and I don't see what
error message. I also don't have the mcpwhitelist lines in my languages.conf
file either.

Are you seeing that at start-up or when you get an MCP hit?
