mqueue.in problem

I have checked using the mailq command and it only listed 2 Q-ID with "*".

But there is around 40 files there with df, qf and xf.

The thing is, only those files with df have matching xf seems to be "stuck"
there. The qf files does gets cleared.

What's with the xf files?
