virus got through

I know ClamAV is free - is there any other av program I can use that's free?
What's the cheapest solution besides clamav? I've heard that one product is
$129 per server, regardless of the number of clients.

It's possible that the virus was delivered BEFORE a virus definition was
released.  This is the exact reason I run more than one AV product on the
mail servers.  Sometimes, Clam detects a virus before Sophos...sometimes,
the other way around.
