New versions of F-Prot Antivirus (fwd)

I note that the new version of  f-prot (4.4.1) scans inside .zip files by
default according to http://www.f-prot.com/download/ReleaseNotesLinux.txt:

The default options are now as follows:
    -archive
        Scan inside archives
    -dumb
        Scan all files, regardless of content
    -packed
        Unpack compressed executables
    -server
        Identify infections within password protected archives

Is there a potential performance problem here with MailScanner and F-Prot
both scanning inside archives?  Would anyone recommend changes to
MailScanner.conf as a result of the changes to F-Prot?
