All Mail Queued... Not getting through!!

Hello,

MailScanner was running fine for months on one of our
customer's mail servers until just recently. Now all
mail seems to be getting queued.

Here is an excerpt from the maillog:

We have restarted the MailScanner service, but the
mail is still stuck...
