Debug SpamAssassin

I just noticed today that the timeout messages seem to be followed by:

Delete bayes lockfile for -number-

This suggests that there may be a bayes issue going on, but that's awfully
thin.  I was hoping for a bit more info, ideally from SpamAssassin itself.

I can try running MS against a batch I suppose.  I'm concerned that it won't
hit (the problem is sporadic) but I can give it a try, at least.
