ClamAv Hogging CPU

Hello,

We have 3 servers using MailScanner version 4.28.5-2 using f-prot and
clamav. One of the servers had a load of 24.6!!! as soon as I removed clamav
from the list of scanners and restarted MailScanner the load went down to
2.3.

The server spec is Dell Precision 420 w/ Dual P3 866mhz and 1GB Ram.

Why would this occur on one server and not the others?
