eTrust Antivirus on Fedora

I have been running eTrust Antivirus (ClamAV as well) on RedHat Linux 8.0
along with MailScanner. I recently upgraded hardware so I decided to go
ahead and go with Fedora Core 1 Linux. After installing eTrust Antivirus
7.0 I noticed that it no longer ran. When I run the command inocmd32 I
receive the following error:

"Initialization of shared library libDistCfg.so failed. The process is
terminating abnormally."

A quick search of Google lead me to put the path to this file
in /etc/ld.so.conf and then reboot. That didn't work either. Finally I
called CA tech support and they said that eTrust 7.0 is only supported on
RedHat up to version 8.0. They referred me to the following compatibility
matrix: http://support.ca.com/techbases/ilnt/comp_matrix_inoit.html

I realize this is not the place to troubleshoot eTrust AV problems, but I
am curious if anyone has had any luck running this on a newer version of
RedHat? If not, it would probably be good for everyone to know of this
limitation. Maybe someone has an idea of a possible fix?

Thanks in advance.

Kyle H.
