Of course if everyone took the trouble (i.e. ran the two necessary
commands) to verify the file against its signature then no-one would try
to install a corrupted file.

I wonder how the downloads of the sigs compare to the downloads of
MailScanner itself.

I started providing sigs of the tarball of MailScanner-MRTG acouple of
releases ago, so far the downloads of the sig is less than 1% of the
downloads of the tarball.
