MCP Problems - URGENT

We were using it to block the occurance of 'the.re' in spam, which we are seeing more and more.

What do you expect this regular expression to match?

It will match with no regards to case,

<any text here>the<any character here>re<any text here>

Considering the first part is a pretty common word and the second part is a
pretty common letter pair...
