SV: Log problem.

I have the standard line in syslog.conf where mail.debug goes to 
/var/log/syslog, I didn't change a thing and it works. Syslogd runs 
without options as it is started in /etc/init.d/syslog.

Do you get any logs at all in that file? From Sendmail? Can you test 
logging to mail.debug with the logger command? No permission problems 
with the file?
