Stephen,

To test Spamassassin, try running spamassassin --debug --lint. This should give you some idea why spamassassin is running slow or hanging.

Subject: [MAILSCANNER] SpamAssassin Errors High Viruses

Good day:

We are running at a client site, Mailscanner + McAffee AV + SpamAssassin.

Today SpamAssassin was giving a lot errors, and no mail was getting
processed, so I temporarily changed to no, the 'use SpamAssassin' flag, and
mail finally started going again, but No I am seeing that we are getting hit
with a tonne of viruses a lot are the 'W32/Zafi.b at MM virus '. So this is in
turn also creating a lot of virus warnings going back and forth, I already
have 'All-Viruses' in silent viruses option, but still the system seems to
be generating warnings, any way to stop a/v warnings all together?

So I guess my problems are 1) Does anyone know of any SpamAssassin issues,
and 2) Can I stop all a/v warnings.

Thanks for any assistance in advance.

SC.
