telnet to smtp port is refused

What I saw is that when I start Mailscannner (and Sendmail) the smtp
port is closed. And when I sart only sendmail smtp port is listening.
Check this logs...


This is when Sendmail is started alone:

As you can see... Everything is Ok. But when I start Mailsecanner:

You check if the port is open inbound and outbound ? You can telnet smtp
port 
by localhost ? Are you sure that sendmail works ok ?
I never saw any problem with MS and Ports....
