Actually, ext2 is a pretty good choice for a Mail Server. Mail Server
usually do have a very high Disk I/O which requires low latency on the
side of the file system. ReiserFS (while able to easily cope with files
around 10K) is known to have a dely issue in 2.4 as well as 2.6
So if you are running this server on a hardware raid to avoid long fsck
times shoiuld something fail, then ext2 is actually a pretty sane choice
