Bayes expire, do we still need to do this?

Yes I know that but what im asking is, is this option the same as if I was
adding it to cron? Are they identical functions?

Yes, but note that for 1 day you should set it to 86400 seconds. Then it
will expire tokens somewhere between 24-28 hours if you reload your
children every 4 hours (default). It's only then it can do it.
