indeed, but not in all

in  reports/en/*  it is ok    "-- "
in  reports/de/* it is not ok    "--"

# grep -r "\-\- " /etc/MailScanner/reports/en/ | wc -l
     19
# grep -r "\-\- " /etc/MailScanner/reports/de/ | wc -l
     17
