Mydoom Virus getting Through

Just a thought,
We have also been struck by occasional mydoom viruses getting through.
I noticed that I lacked perl module MIME::Base64 and MIME::Type
After installing them through cpan I am now monitoring for any new 
mydoom viruses getting through. Although this problem seems intermittent
I am not sure if this might have any effect...

Any new input on this is very appreciated.
