Problem with clamav-autoupdate

I had to comment out this line:

eval { Sys::Syslog::setlogsock('unix'); }; # This may fail!

to get /opt/MailScanner/lib/clamav-autoupdate logging to work.

Solaris 8, ClamAV 0.75.1
