Ok, that finally made sense to me what that was saying.

How about modifying that to something like:

To unsubscribe send "leave mailscanner" to jiscmail at jiscmail.ac.uk

I apologize for being critical, but I really never understood what that was
saying.
I'm pretty slow most of the time, please be nice
