Doesn't mean you can't run another MTA on a seperate virtual interface or loopback address and forward all incoming / outgoing mail through it.  bit of a kludge though.

Looking around further it appears that Open Exchange is built on postfix as an SMTP server, so you should be able to integrate MailScanner (assuming you can get at the configs....
