i can telnet to my sendmail {Scanned}

David, Im pretty sure I edited the sendmail.cf right because my output on
netstat -nl gives me this..

You shouldn't at login when telneting to a mail server on port 25.

telnet <IP Address> 25
220 <Domain Name> <Mail Server Info>
helo me
250 <Domain Name> pleased to meet you


Now if this is a new install and you haven't edited sendmail.cf then it
might
not be listening on the right interface.

vi sendmail.cf and look for a line like this:
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=127.0.0.1, Name=MTA

add a 2nd line:
O DaemonPortOptions=Port=smtp,Addr=<Put Your IP address here>, Name=MTA

Restart sendmail..
