Hotmail Whitelisted {Scanned}

David,

>From the message you posted to the list I don't understand how you can say
it is whitelisted. The purpose of the blacklist is to mark the message as
Spam, and by default MailScanner will handle messages in the blacklist as
low-scoring spam and use the 'Spam Actions = ' settings unless you set
'Definite Spam Is High Scoring = yes' in which case it will use the 'High
Scoring Spam Actions =' settings.

So do you or do you not have 'Definite Spam Is High Scoring = yes' in
MailScanner.conf??

If not - set it and reload MailScanner and see if this meets your
expectations.

Regards,
Steve.

Don't crawl anywhere. I need help. The email is being processed
properly. It should be deleted. AS high scoring spam is deleted. The
problem is that it is being whitelisted. Tagged as high scoring spam
and sent to the end user. Nothing in whitelist to say whitelist me.
Just is !!!!!

        David,

Having tried to follow this thread and understand the problem -
I think I've
come to the conclusion that you are saying that you've
blacklisted this
address and yet it is still being delievered to the recepient
albeit marked
as {Spam?} - but you really want it to be deleted - am I
right???

If so - all you need to do is set:

Definite Spam Is High Scoring = yes

If I'm wrong - I'll just go and crawl back under my rock ;-)))

        Hope this helps.

        Kind regards,
        Steve.

I replied back to your hotmail account. It marked it as
Blacklisted
spam and forwarded it to me.
