Whitelist

Quick question here. If I put a domain on a whitelist, does it skip the
entire scan process (such as for viruses and file contents as well) or
does it only by-pass the spam check? Have a user (who, sadly is an admin
for one of our sites...) who subscribes to a daily comic mailing list
that contains javascripts for ads, so MailScanner is stripping out the
HTML and calling it a possible virus. Wondering if I add it to the
whitelist, will it let it through w/o checking for viruses and stuff.
