MailScanner and SpamAssasin

Greetings:

I installed MailScanner 4.29.7-1 on a Red Hat Enterprise 2.1 server running
Sendmail 8.11.  Mailscanner itself works fine for filtering attachments,
however I am having trouble with Spam Asassin.

When I enable SpamAssasin in MailScanner.conf, it captures all the mail and
holds it on the
server regardless of content.  I have checked the configuration settings and
adjusted the highscore and spamactions settings to no avail.

Could someone please provide me with a few pointers?  I'm sure that I am
missing something basic.
