Mail Down MS problem a little help please

I suggest you start by searching in google and google groups the sendmail error messages and the list archive for the MailScanner error.

As someone stated, might be a permission problem, or symlinks.  Is your filesystem full?  Inodes left?
How are system resources?  Load? swap?
