You had standard sendmail processes running. My usual remedy is to killall
-9 sendmail, killall -9 MailScanner, and service MailScanner restart. I'm
sure I'll get some flak for doing killall's like that... ;-)

PROBLEM #1 (HAPPENED FIRST)
I installed Rules Du Jour with everyone's help and it seems to be working
since the headers have rule reports from BigEvil and I didn't have this
installed before.
However I have had multiple people email me and say that they have had an
increase of spam now, some 50 more per day and some 20 more per day. Also I
have noticed that the spam box doesn't receive as much as it used to either
(I have spam forwarded to a email address).
Would anyone know the reason for this, or a way I can track down what
happened?
PROBLEM #2 (HAPPENED NEXT DAY)
This probably happened because of me doing something where I don't know what
I was doing. One thing that I changed was the alias file, I changed it to
the following:
# Person who should get root's mail
root: administrator at woodmaclaw.com
So I was getting roots email and the spam filter was working but with
PROBLEM #1's condition. Today I come in and I have these errors in the log
and the filter doesn't seem to be working at all at the moment.
Help is greatly appreciated. Than you very much.
