%rules-dir% config setting?

Julian,

I'm running 4.29.7 and having my first encounter with my
own custom rules that I want preserved across upgrades.
So, I want to put my rules in /etc/MailScanner/rules, not
/opt/MailScanner/etc/rules. It would be nice if the
MailScanner.conf gave two %rules% definitions at the top,
one for your rules, and one for mine, eg:

# Rulesets directory containing rulesets shipped with MailScanner
# Note: these rules may change between versions of MailScanner
%rules-dir% = /opt/MailScanner/etc/rules

# Put your site-specific rulesets in this directory
# and they will be preserved between MailScanner upgrades
%localrules-dir% = /etc/MailScanner/rules

This way, I can just do:

Spam Checks = %localrules-dir%/spamcheck.rules

Can I just make these changes to MailScanner.conf and have
this work? Can this be added to the next edition?
