I'm an idiot.  cpan -> install Convert::BinHex -> quit, start MailScanner, 
VOILA!

Sorry, my bad...nothing to see here, move along people.  I guess that'll 
teach me for trying to do an upgrade on 3 hours sleep in the past 48 hours 
when it's already 00:10.  Ugh!  I'm going home, to bed :P

Julian: 1stly, THANK YOU for the prompt reply!  I take it the 
"$longspamreport" is like the original spam reports that spamassassin used 
to add?  Just curious.
