You should be able to find several emails about bitdefender in the
archives.
A while ago, I downloaded a trial version and was shocked it would not
even detect the Eicar string, that's why I am a bit surprised to hear the
latest results, eg. that it did detect several virii other scanners did
not detect.
Maybe they have improved the product or at least the signatures...
