Note the date: Sat, 25 Jan 2003 10:19:37 +1100, which was a long time
back in Internet months.

In no way is it news.
Note also that this thread addresses name service for requests which
contain non-ASCII octets, and is not directly related to the wildcard
changes inflicted on the Internet by VeriSign yesterday.
