Question about virus/rules

In looking at the mailscanner.conf I notice that the following entry appears
to allow rules-based virus scanning;

<SNIP>
# If you want to be able to switch scanning on/off for different users or
# different domains, set this to the filename of a ruleset.
# This can also be the filename of a ruleset.
Virus Scanning = yes
</SNIP>

meaning I could point MS to a rules file and scan mail for viruses based on
typical rules syntax...

HOWEVER...

is it safe to say that the scanners that are used is NOT configurable in the
same way? Meaning, if I want example.com to be scanned with both Sophos AND
ClamAV...I could point to s rules file that looks like this:

FromOrTo: example.com sophossavi clamav
FromOrTo: example.net    sophossavi

I have a need to apply virus to some email and not to others granularly like
this.
