mailscanner-mrtg - no graphics?

Hi Kevin, thanks.

I grabbed the snashot and copied the files from the tyar file over the
ones in various directories from the previous rpm install <--is that
correct method?

I could not, at all, get mrtg to complete ./configure using this guide
-->http://people.ee.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/mrtg/unix-guide.html

So i grabbed my Red Hat cds, went through the upgrade process and selected
libpng, gd and mrtg and voila it worked. So now ms-mrtg is grabbing stats
from postfix/mailscanner.

Because i dont have any monthly stats yet, the pics for monthly and yearly
are just broken (little box with x in it). I know it is not really big
deal, but maybe you could put a blank or default one in there until a live
one is generated? To avoid newbie users like me trying to troubleshoot it
:)

I have begun building (on a new machine) what i intend to be my production
mailscanner software, so will wait for the new postfix rpm and try that
then.

Kind regards and thanks.
Pete

I don't think any of those are related to mailscanner-mrtg directly, I
don't have any of those files on my system. Perhaps you have some other
mrtg script running from cron? (check in /etc/crontab /etc/cron.hourly
roots crontab etc....)

Not really, theres some brief docs in the package (if you used the rpm
check /usr/share/doc/mailscanner-mrtg [might have a version number
appended too]) But to be honest theres very little to know, apart from
the config file which is self documenting.
