Panda 7.0.1 and MailScanner {Scanned}

I have setup a cron job to update panda. I am using the sendmail perimeter
product. Unfortunately with that product there is no way for MailScanner to
know if the message has been cleaned or not so I have got rid of the virus
checked line since I know all e-mail are being checked for virus.

I'm from Science Faculty, and we have a valid licence for some Panda
Products (PAnda Administrator, Panda Platinum) so we have a username and pwd
for updates. I'm just using it to download the update and put it on the
linux box, where i have the freelly available Panda Antivirus Command Line
utility (it's free, but without paying you'll not have the updates :-)

And yes, the script that i've made take the username, pwd and proxy infos
into account... but that is simple because wget can do all that for you...

Just curious, how did you go about getting an evaluation license of this
product? Was there a magic sequence of clicks on the web site, or did you
simply call a sales rep and request one?

Also, can you please confirm whether login credentials are needed in order
to update the virus signatures? If this is the case, does Julian's
autoupdate script take this into account?

Was this solved in any way?
I just recently got a panda evaluation license and downloaded pavcl 7.0.1
which doesnt seem to work with the latest MailScanner.

Also, there is a panda signature update script available at
www.pcm.se/download/pavupdate.tar.gz , could this be made into a panda-
autoupdate MailScanner script perhaps?
