That, and other reasons, is why one always needs to check for .rpm??*
files after any sort of rpm package upgrade. Rpm is smart enough to
realize that a config file or script may have been altered from the
original installation and the upgrade process should not gratuitously
overwrite the existing file.It is left as an exercise for the
administrator to hunt down any of these and merge the saved (or new)
version into the running copy.

The instructions said to use Windows 98 or better, so I installed
RedHat.
