No, I mean 'remove', after stopping MailScanner, with a subsequent restart, of
course.  If you do not want to lose the accumlated "knowledge" in the files,
just move them out of the way while testing and move them back if there is no
difference in performance.

This problem might be fixed by an upgrade to 2.60, which uses Berkeley DB files.
  We are still evaluating 2.60 ourselves.
