You can control how long stuff is quarantined through tmpwatch.  Run something 
similar to the following from cron:
/usr/sbin/tmpwatch --mtime 720 /var/spool/MailScanner/quarantine

In RedHat, add this line to /etc/cron.daily/tmpwatch
