You are using assp -> MTA -> MailScanner+SpamAssassin?

And you are sure that

A) you are really catching more spam since assp can do more than
MailScanner/SpamAssassin can?
B) you are not making things overly complicated?

After all: Every piece of software you use is probable to have a buffer
overflow etc. etc. etc.
